Ready for a new twist on homemade cookies? The Best Multi Chip Cookies bring together chewy oats, rich chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, creamy peanut butter, and bursts of M&M’S in every bite. Each cookie delivers a mix of textures and flavors, making it hard to stop at just one. If you love bold treats that pack in all the good stuff, this recipe delivers big comfort and big flavor.
Ingredients
1 + 1/2 cups chunky peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 stick softened butter
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups oats quick
2 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi sweet or milk chocolate chips
1 cup M&M minis
1 cup peanut butter chips
1 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl combine peanut butter, sugars, butter, eggs, oats, baking soda, vanilla and salt. Mix well with an electric mixer.
- Add in all other ingredients and mix again until well blended.
- Form dough into ball size cookies and place two inches apart on greased cookie sheets. (The dough ball is about 1 1/2 Tbsp.)
- Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool 5 minutes before removing from pan. Enjoy!

Add a couple M&Ms to the top of each cookie – for aesthetics and flavor!

Storage
- Place them in an airtight container or zip-top bag to keep them from drying out or becoming stale. Let the cookies cool completely before storing them to prevent any of the chocolate from melting on the bag.
- For longer storage, you can freeze these cookies in a single layer on a baking sheet before transferring them to a freezer-safe container. When you’re ready to enjoy them, just thaw them at room temperature or give them a quick zap in the microwave for that fresh-from-the-oven taste.
FAQs
Can I add other mix-ins into my cookies?
When it comes to these cookies, the sky’s the limit when it comes to mix-ins! Here are some fun and flavorful additions you can throw into your cookie batter to take them to the next level:
- Nuts: Chop up some walnuts, pecans, almonds, or cashews for added crunch and texture.
- Coconut: Sweetened shredded coconut adds a tropical twist and a chewy bite to your cookies.
- Dried Fruit: Try adding dried cranberries, cherries, raisins, or apricots for bursts of natural sweetness and tanginess.
- Pretzels: Crushed pretzel pieces can add a salty crunch that contrasts beautifully with the sweetness of the cookie dough.
- Butterscotch Chips: Swap out some of the chocolate chips for butterscotch chips for a rich, caramel-like flavor.
- Candy Bars: Chop up your favorite candy bars – like Snickers, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, or Kit Kats – and fold them into the dough for extra decadence.
- Toffee Bits: Bits of toffee add a buttery, caramel flavor and a satisfying crunch to your cookies.
Feel free to mix and match these mix-ins to create your own unique cookie masterpiece. The only limit is your imagination!
