Easy Turkey Protein Bowl Recipe with Vibrant Greek Dressing

I hesitate to call this a recipe because it’s so easy to make, but here are the details for the easy turkey protein bowl recipe with Greek dressing should you need something new for lunch inspiration. Why is it called a Protein Bowl? It’s just a label – Buddah Bowls are typically vegetarian, so I suppose Protein Bowls were named to include meat as an option.

This Protein Bowl includes romaine lettuce, turkey (high in lean protein, iron, zinc, B12 and Vitamin D), red onions (antioxidants and onions can help lower blood pressure), pecans (good source of calcium, magnesium and potassium), cranberries (antioxidants, Vitamin C and fiber-rich) and feta (calcium!) Add croutons too if you like!

The homemade Greek dressing I use is a simple recipe:

Greek Dressing

  • ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic (or 2 cloves minced)
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup olive oil

Note: You can substitute any of the following for the red wine vinegar: white wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, champagne vinegar, raspberry vinegar
